Mato (pronunciation key; Mätō) is Mater's older sister. In Cars on the Road, she gets married to Mateo.

- When Mato is explaining her name to McQueen and Cruz, she copies Mater's catchphrase by saying "Mato, like Tuh-Mato but without the "tuh".
