Todd "The Shockster" Marcus is the former racer for the No Stall team. He used to compete in the Piston Cup Racing Series with the number 123, until Jonas Carvers replaced him.

History

Cars

Marcus and Scruggs during the accident at the Motor Speedway of the South during the Piston Cup Racing Series in 2005.

In Cars, Todd competes in the Dinoco 400 race at the the Motor Speedway of the South that was the final race of the season. During the race, he stayed around the 20th position until Chick Hicks caused a large accident between almost all of competitors. During the wreck, Todd hit Ernie Gearson before spinning out of control and bumping into Claude Scruggs, after that, the two found themselves roof-to-roof screaming at each other in fear. Though Todd suffered some physical damage, he was still able to race, and returned to the fray after a pit stop, finishing the race in the middle of the pack.

In The World of Cars Online, Todd was one of the race opponents at the Tailgator Speedway, along with Lee Revkins and Johnny Blamer.

Cars: Fast as Lightning

In Cars: Fast as Lightning, Todd is the first unlockable, playable character, made available once both tutorial races have been completed as Lightning McQueen. Marcus comes to Radiator Springs to race against McQueen, who he cites as one of his idols.

Todd owns his own track called Todd's Track, where players can earn all of Chick Hicks' stickers by emerging victorious from races against Fillmore, Mater, Flo, and Chick Hicks. Todd's Pit is unlocked alongside him, which is where Marcus resides in the player's town.

Todd has two unlockable paint jobs, Rookie Green and Golden Champion, which can be unlocked by earning stickers in practices races at Todd's Track.

In Cars 3, Todd returns to compete in the 2016 Piston Cup season with Lightning McQueen, Bobby Swift, Cal Weathers, and Brick Yardley. However, due to Jackson Storm making an impressive entrance on the racetrack which caused sponsors to drop stock cars and replace them with Next-Generation race cars, Todd most likely retires and was replaced by a next-generation racer named Jonas Carvers.
