Earl Filter, also known as Chief Leak Less, is the crew chief for the Leak Less racing team in Cars. He assists Claude Scruggs in his attempts to win the Piston Cup races he competes in. He is painted white, with the Leak Less logo on his hood. He has a grey grille, headlights, yellow rims, and wears a large black headset on his roof.

Earl makes an appearance at the Motor Speedway of the South in Cars, in the Leak Less section of the pit row.

Trivia

• He shares a similar model to Chief RPM, Fiber Fuel Crew Chief, and Tank Coat Crew Chief. However, his grill and headlights are the same as Padre.
• His 1:55 scale die-cast incorrectly depicts him as a yellow Haulital Lugnutter. The same error happened with Chief RPM.
