Uncle Lou was an Italian Radiator Springs resident who owned Lou's House of Tires. He is the uncle of Luigi, and appears in the Ciao, America! story in World of Cars.
History
In Ciao, America!, Lou had invited Luigi and Guido from Italy to work for him at his tire store in Radiator Springs. Sometime afterwards, Lou retired and Luigi had succeeded his uncle in his role as the business owner, and the store was renamed Luigi's Casa Della Tires.
In Backwards to the Forwards, Mater told Lightning McQueen about how he time travelled back to Radiator Springs in 1955. Mater noticed how different the town was as he drove past Lou's House of Tires.

- According to The Art of Cars, Lou was originally planned to be the name for Luigi.
