In Planes, he is seen making a cameo appearance in the crowd during the end celebrating Dusty Crophopper's victory.

Planes: Fire & Rescue

In Planes: Fire & Rescue, he is now a minor/recurring character. When Ryker investigates the fire incident caused by Dusty, he tells Mayday that he will have to close down propwash junction until Mayday gets upgraded and there are at least two firefighters. He later comes and inspects Dusty for certification and Mayday and approves and re-opens the station.

Livery

Ryker is based on Rosenbauer Panther 6x6, and painted chartreuse with blue lines on his sides. He has chartreuse rims, a black grille and a white shape with the Transportation Management Safety Team logo.

Bios

• As an air safety investigator for the Transportation Management Safety Team (TMST), Ryker not only lives by the book, he wrote the book on airport accident investigations. The TMST is an independent federal agency charged with the task of investigating aviation accidents, as well as significant accidents involving other large vehicles, including trains and boats.
• Ryker, a 17-year veteran of the Transportation Management Safety Team (TMST), not only lives by the book when it comes to airport accident investigations, he wrote the book. Nothing slips by this air safety investigator, so don’t even try.
