- In Cars, Ruby Oaks had the number 51. In Cars 3, the Easy Idle racers have the number 15, swapping the places of the 1 and the 5, most likely because it would later be the number of Cruz Ramirez. An early artwork, however, shows Carl Clutchen with the number 51.
- The Easy Idle logo resembles the Peak Automotive Products and the Prestone Antifreeze/Coolant logo.
