A skyPad is an item seen in Planes. Zed uses his skyPad to show a video to Ripslinger about Dusty winning the race in Shanghai, only to have it crushed. Zed is upset, but Ripslinger tells him that a new one is coming out in two weeks.
It is an obvious parody of the Apple iPad.
Use
The skyPad most likely has many different applications. One of which, called FlewTube (a parody of YouTube), allows the user to view videos.
Trivia
- There is an inconsistency between Cars 2 and Planes regarding devices. In Cars 2, Finn McMissile mentions the existence of the iPhone. Yet in Planes, the skyPad parodies the iPad. However, it could be possible that a skyPad is a knockoff of an iPad.
