Impala XIII is an American auto-naut and Moon landing specialist who works NASCA. In 1969 he was taking part in an Impala XIII mission during which he landed on Moon where his back wheel got stuck in a crater. After that the space agency send Tow Mater with a rescue mission that succeeded. The both of them started from the surface of the moon and with assist of re-entry specialist auto-naut, Lightning McQueen all of them landed on Earth in the Pacific Ocean from where they were escorted by Admiral Kittyhawk. After that in the city of Carford Hills a parade was organized for them and Mater Day was created.

He is a 1971 Chevrolet Impala IV. His license plate reads IMPXIII. He has white paint with logo of NASCA and Impala XIII mision of his doors. He is wearing blue-white cap and astronaut helmet on his cabin and life support system as a backpack on his trunk. He has chrome caps and brown eyes.

  • Auto-naut Impala XIII's name is a reference to Chevrolet Impala and to NASA's Apollo 13 Moon mission that almost turned to disaster. The year of Impala XIII's mission is 1969 which is reference to year of Apollo 11 mission during which humanity had it's first step on the Moon.
  • In the Polish version, he is called Polonez XIII. It alludes to the FSO Polonez, a Polish car.
