Murphy, nicknamed Mr. Muscle by some, is a character in Cars. He appears during the end credit sequence of the film, in which Sarge is lecturing Murphy, Charlie Cargo, Frank "Pinky" Pinkerton, and T.J., who have joined Sarge's SUV Boot Camp, on off-road driving. While Murphy, Charlie, and Frank start driving down the rocky hill immediately after being ordered to by Sarge, T.J. is reluctant, but starts once Sarge scolds him.

Murphy is an Emerycraft Inka that is painted in an orange livery. He also resembles a Chevrolet Suburban with Ford F-Series/Bronco headlights (coincidentally, both 1992 model years). He has oversized chrome rims and a chrome bumper, and his license plate reads "TWK702".

Bio

• Murphy never feels like he fits in. Relationships are hard for him, and everyone expects him to be the tough guy, Mr. Muscle, but Murphy's shy. He likes to stay put and prefers the familiar, smooth roads of his old neighborhood. When his best friend invited him to the top destination spa in the country, Murphy reluctantly agreed. Some spa! Until that day, Murphy thought off road was the name of a country band.
