Sidewall Shine is a wheel wax company that is a sponsor in the Piston Cup. It is Slider Petrolski's sponsor. It is also one of the few sponsors to not return in Cars 3, however, it returns in the 2021 die-cast line in the NASCAR series where it sponsors a new racer named Carstin "Ace" Dillon.

Trivia
- Sidewall Shine's pit crew didnt appear, nor appeared to have a pit row slot, along with half of the piston cup sponsors in the Motor Speedway of the South in Cars, strangely enough, since every racer needs a pit crew in the race to have their tires changed, be refueled, etc. This is seemingly a plothole in the film.
- Despite this, Slider Petrolski's pit crew made a small appearence in Boom Studios Comics, The Rookie part 4.
- The Sidewall Shine logo, with colors added from Sidewall Shine racers, resembles the Pennzoil logo.
- Sidewall Shine, Hostile Takeover Bank, Dale Earnhardt Inc., Shifty Drug, Fiber Fuel, Retread, Tach-O-Mint are the only sponsors absent from Cars 3.
- But Hostile Takeover Bank, Shifty Drug, Fiber Fuel, Sidewall Shine, Retread later After hired NASCAR Next-Gen Racers of 1: 55 Diecast, them never appeared in animated movies.
- Although Hostile Takeover Bank racer Chick Hicks himself appeared in Cars 3, after he retired and became a commentator for RSN, he used his name and RSN replaced all the company's logos on his body.
- Dale Earnhardt Inc. may have real-life copyright issues with the company or he may be the successor owner of the company, which may no longer be active in racing world after Dale Earnhardt Jr. retires.
- Tach-O-Mint may have closed or no longer sponsoring racers after Greg Candyman or Guenther retired.
