  • On August 1st, 2022, Pixar revealed that Cars on the Road is set to debut on Disney+ on September 8th, 2022.
  • A Disney+ show based on the Cars franchise was announced for a 2022 release on Disney+ on January 4, 2021. Pixar revealed the name of the show to be Cars on the Road on November 12, 2021.
