DisneyToon Studios was an animation studio that was a division of The Walt Disney Company. It had produced the spin-off films Planes and Planes: Fire & Rescue. Carlos Alazraqui confirmed that the Planes series would be a trilogy, and a film about the future of aviation in outer space was in development. However, DisneyToon Studios was immediately closed down on June 28, 2018, thus putting the movie out of development.[1]
