In Cars 2, he is seen in Paris kissing Nancy on the Pont des Arts as Mater, Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell drive by, with Mater catching sight of the couple.

- He and Nancy are named after John Lasseter and his wife Nancy. This is also a reference to when Lasseter and Nancy were once told during a visit to Paris that couples are supposed to kiss when they cross the Pont des Arts.
