Re-Volting, formerly Re-Volting Rebuilt Alternators, is a trademark for rebuilt alternators and batteries, for when cars' alternators start to fail. Davey Apex, the Piston Cup racer, bare this sponsor, as well as Dave's reserve driver, Bashman. Between Cars and Cars 3, T.G. Castlenut replaces Dave and the number changes from 84 to 48. However, in Cars 3, following Jackson Storm's win at the Copper Canyon Speedway, T.G. Castlenut is fired, along with five other veterans, and replaced by a next-generation racer named Aaron Clocker.
