History
History
Winford Bradford Rutherford was a stock race car that lived in the United States. He graduated Ivy League university with physics degree a couple years prior to 2006. While being in university, he studied physics mechanics that could give him an advantage in racing, such as momentum and velocity. His doctor and lawyer friends at the country club found his idea of using science for racing ridiculous. Winford eventually had became a highly respected racing driver competing in Piston Cup Racing Series for RPM racing team with number 64. During races he used his knowledge of physics to cheat the wind and out-maneuver other racers, which made other racers affectionately call him "The Professor".
In Cars, Winford appears as one of the thirty-six competitors at the final race of the season at the Motor Speedway of the South. After performing a PIT maneuver on Lightning McQueen, Chick Hicks finds himself a considerable distance ahead of him, but further increases the gap by bumping Winford into Murray Clutchburn, and it quickly becomes a crash consisting of all racers except for The King, Chick and McQueen.

During the race, Chick Hicks bumped into Winford causing him to hit Murray Clutchburn and start an accident that included almost all of the competitors. He received small damages, but was able to continue racing.
At some point between Cars and Cars 3, Winford retired, and Bruce Miller became the new RPM racer.

Sometime between the 2006 and 2017 he stopped competing in Piston Cup Racing Series and got replaced by RPM team with Bruce Miller.
