He first appears behind Chick Hicks in the end-scene for Sprint 1.
He later appears in Stinger's Stir Up, where Chick introduces him to Lightning McQueen and Ramone. Lightning asked how he was doing, but Stinger just revved his engine. Ramone regarded him as the strong silent type. Later, in the end-scene, Chick gets mad at him and calls him a steel brain of a worthless bucket of bolts. This made Stinger angry and rev his engine.
