Bio
Carl "Studs" McGirdle is a steady cam operator for the RSN (Racing Sports Network) network. He's known for his steady nerves and solid reliability. Whether on the race track with cars speeding by or in the press pit with reporters smashing into him, "Studs" will always get the shot without wavering.

In the film, Cars was visible in the background on the TV when the Harv show Lightning McQueen interview Chick Hicks about his disappearance.

Carl "Studs" McGirdle is dark gray with black elements in the cage ventilation in silver rim and silver caps. On the right front side of the camera holds a dark gray with black trim. His eyes are light gray.
