Jonathan Wrenchworths is a rusty 1975 Emerycraft Oxidizer who appears in Cars.
History
Jonathan appears in Cars when Mack informs Lightning McQueen that in order to leave the speedway, he must make an appearance inside of his sponsor's tent. After McQueen protests, a commercial is shown that advertises Rust-eze Medicated Bumper Ointment, with Jonathan as the star. Only his rear is shown, however, as a can of Rust-eze is slid along his bumper, removing the rust.
Bio
- Jonathan didn't always have a rust problem. It all started after he spent three nights standing in the rain waiting for race tickets. By the third morning he was covered hood to tires in flaky brown rust, making it hard to get a date -- that is until he flashed his front row Piston Cup tickets! Ever since then, he's been standing in line for tickets, come rain or shine.[1]
