Chuck Armstrong is a professional race car who competed in the Piston Cup Racing Series. He is extremely allergic to certain types of fuels, and as a result, he has to stay at least five feet away from them. I can still race!", however, he was seen without damage in the restart, most likely due to an animation error.

Between Cars and Cars 3

Between the events of Cars and Cars 3, Chuck retired and Dud Throttleman succeeded him as the Mood Springs racer.

While Chuck does not appear in the actual comic itself, he is seen on one of the covers for The Rookie. He is one of several race cars piled up on top of one another, while Lightning McQueen is trying to navigate through them.
