In Cars, Crusty appears at the Motor Speedway of the South, competing in the Dinoco 400 against the likes of Lightning McQueen, The King, Chick Hicks and many others. He is involved in the huge accident caused by Chick Hicks, during which he spun out hitting Ryan Shields, losing one of his tires in the process as his tire bounces down the track like a kickball. However, he does not suffer any major damage from it.
