Eli Turnpike was a race car that lived in the Saint Joseph, Tennessee, United States. He was a professional race driver, who, in the 1950s, competed in the Piston Cup Racing Series with the number 26, where he was sponsored by Fits Right, Faster's Garage, Grandol Oil Co. and Dinoco. He competed in the race at the Thomasville Speedway, during which the Hudson Hornet had jumped over Leroy Heming.


Physical description

Turnpike was a 1940 Ford Standard Coupe. His registration number was LO4-15F. Eli was painted lime with red front and had a white number 26 on his doors and back.
