Sheldon Shifter is a Next-Gen race car that competes in the Piston Cup Racing Series with the number 92 for Sputter Stop. He joined the Piston Cup in 2017, replacing Murray Clutchburn.
History
Sheldon Shifter is a next generation racer. He began his career in 2017 as Murray Clutchburn's replacement in 2023 and will be present for this last season as he was dismissed.
But following the racing accident of his 2024 replacement, Sheldon and recalled by his team Sputter srop who in January 2024 will give Sheldon another chance.
Sheldon will have his small success at the Piston Cup which will allow him to definitively replace his former predecessor.
And this will bring doubts to some teams, who replaced their riders with new ones like SynerG team, who may have made a mistake in replacing their old riders.

in Cars 3, Sheldon Shifter entered the Piston Cup Racing Series during the mid-season joining the Sputter Stop team as a replacement for the previous racer, Murray Clutchburn. In 2017 he participated in the Florida 500 race at the Florida International Super Speedway, during which he took part in the crash and spun out of control and drove towards the infield. He did not experience any serious damage and was able to continue to race. During the race hits a speed bump in the track causing him to trip.
Physical description
Shifter is a Next-Gen 2017 Race Car SA-3. He uses Lightyear racing tires. His eyes were blue. He had brown livery with turquoise and white squares scattered on his body. He had the number 92, colored white, on his sides and roof and had the logo of Sputter Stop on his back, spoiler and sides next to his number. He has a short spoiler like Tim Treadless and similar headlights as well.
