- "Rule number one: Gate closes, you race! Rule number two: Last car standing wins! And rule number three: No cursing! It's family night!"
- —Roscoe, Cars 3
Roscoe the Promoter (possible full name; or known as just Roscoe normally for short)[1] is the gatekeeper at the Thunder Hollow Speedway.
Bio
- Roscoe is the gate keeper at Thunder Hollow Speedway. He's amused when he meets rookies who think they're braves enough to run on Crazy Eight night and has fun watching them try to survive on the track. Despite that, Roscoe's a stickler for the rules: no escaping the track once the race starts; last car standing wins; and no cursing on family night. But swerving is encouraged.[2]
Physical description
According to the Meet the Cars book, Roscoe is a Hollismobile Campster[2], a model largely resembling the 1973-1987 Chevrolet/GMC C/K trucks[1], except with just some differences, especially from the front design, which resembles an International Harvester. He also has a bed cap, representing his hat or a "cap" itself.

Quotes
- "Hey now! Are you that out-of-towner?" - Cars 3
- "Oh, they'll be along! We always let our guests start right up front." - Cars 3
- "Rule number one: Gate closes, you race." - Cars 3
Trivia
- Roscoe's design is similar to Secretary of the Interior.
- Although his names in Meet the Cars and on his diecast say "Roscoe", his original (and full name) seems to be "Roscoe the Promoter", according to online die-cast leaks.
- From now on, we will keep the page name as "Roscoe the Promoter" to differentiate with Roscoe the helicopter, from Planes.
