Yuri is a dark green Russian rally car that came to Radiator Springs to compete in the Mater-National series of events.

In Cars: Mater-National Championship, Yuri is seen as an opponent in the races Inside the Turkey and Canyon Run. He is also seen on Luigi and Giovanni's team in Team Relay 1.

He is a 1962 Toyota Crown that is painted dark green with a chrome bumper and decals.

  • He and Philip are the only two characters who are new in Cars: Mater-National Championship, but not playable. Though playable data has been found for both characters in the game's files.
  • He is possibly named after Yuri Gagarin.
  • By very close comparison, Yuri is almost an unmodified version of Gudmund.
  • His license plate reads "YURIKAA", which is a play on "Eureka". He is also sometimes referred to as this, though it is unknown if this is his actual name.
