He is a old professional race driver, who, in the 1950s, competed in the Piston Cup Racing Series with the number 17, where he is sponsored by Southern Gold Gasoline. He competed in the race at the Thomasville Speedway, during which the Hudson Hornet had jumped over Leroy Heming.

He is based on a 1949 Oldsmobile Rocket 88.

- Robinson's design is based on the design of Buck Baker's 1949 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 stock car.
- Racing number 17 was also used by Darrell Cartrip.
- His model is somewhat similar to Sheriff.
