Help:Image

Images are used to illustrate an article subject.

• Before uploading a new file, check to see whether it (or an alternative) already exists, via searching or by checking the files list.
• If not, then you can upload a new one: Please review the image use policy before doing so.
• Once you have a file, you can add it to a page - this works by "transcluding" it from the files namespace, like so:

[[File:Image name.png|thumb|Caption text]]

If you want to adjust the display size, you can add the additional parameter |Number.px (caption text will always be last, otherwise order doesn't matter):

[[File:Image name.png|thumb|200px|Caption text]]

You can also set the alignment: left, right, or center.

[[File:Image name.png|thumb|left|200px|Caption text]]
