Bobby Swift is a stock race car that used to race in the Piston Cup Racing Series for Octane Gain with the number 19.
History
Bobby Swift is a stock race car that lived in the United States. He is a racing driver who, around late 2010s, competed in the Piston Cup Racing Series for the Octane Gain team with number 19. He was known for squeezing past his opponents at the last moment to win a race. He was good friends with Lightning McQueen, Brick Yardley and Cal Weathers. He used to spar and joke with them during the races, always being at the front of the pack. In 2016 after McQueen's victory in Dinoco Light 350 at the Motor Speedway of the South, Swift and his crew pranked him in extinguishing foam and confetti while he was having an interview with Racing Sports Network reporter, Shannon Spokes. In the mid-season when Jackson Storm won at the Copper Canyon Speedway, he, Lightning and Cal were surprised by his speed. When Lightning asks who he was, Bobby responded saying that was Jackson Storm who is one of the rookies. Interest and popularity in Next-Generation race cars rose since they had better achievements on the track racing. For the rest of the season, more and more stock cars were replaced with high-tech rookies and Bobby was unable to keep up. Before the Los Angeles 500, the final race of the 2016 Piston Cup Series, Bobby was theoretically fired by Octane Gain and was replaced by Daniel Swervez. Bobby does not appear again in the film.
