Car-coins were the currency players used to purchase content in The World of Cars Online.

History

They were first introduced in october, 2008, during the Test Track. You could get 10 car-coins by redeeming a race code found in 1:55 Scale Die-Cast toys.

In 2010, during the Open Beta you could be rewarded with car-coins by testing the game. In may, 2010, during the "VIP weekends", you could receive 50,000 car-coins to spend. All car-coins were removed from players when the Open Beta ended.
