"Slim" Hood was a race car that lived in the Bristol, Tennessee, United States. He was a professional race driver, who, in the 1950s, competed in the Piston Cup Racing Series with the number 9, where he was sponsored by Sludge Cola, The Plaza Supermarket, Southern Gold, Motor Oil and Re-Volting. In 1954, he competed in the race at the Fireball Beach Course, during which the Hudson Hornet had experienced a career-ending crash.
Physical description
Hood was a race car that was painted blue, and had the number 9 on his doors and roof. His registration plate number was L02-02M.
Trivia
- He named after Pixar employee Sam Hood.
- His license plate has year 1955 on it despite fact that race in which Hudson Hornet had his crush, in which Hood took part, had happened in 1954.
