Cars-Related News A new update for Cars: Fast as Lightning (pictured) was released on June 25, 2015. This added two new playable characters, Yokoza and Komodo, as well as a shop, daily bonuses, town activities, night time, neon paint jobs, paint bonuses, new decorations, buildings and track pieces. The theme is also switched back to normal, with the snow removed from the Christmas update, but with neon lights added to the roads, race tracks and buildings. Additionally, players can now use any character on any race track. Boba Fett was confirmed to be a playable character in Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition on June 15, 2015. Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, Sabine Wren, and Zeb Orrelios, four characters from Star Wars Rebels, were confirmed to be playable in Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition on June 12, 2015. Anne Meara, voice of Winnie, passed away on May 23, 2015. Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition, the next game in the Disney Infinity series, was officially announced, set for a Q3-Q4 2015 release date. The game will include multiple new characters and play sets, most notably those relating to the Star Wars series. More info for To Protect and Serve, the upcoming Cars Toons episode, was revealed, including plot details and cast. It is set for an unconfirmed 2015 date. Planes: Fire & Rescue: The Video Game was released on the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, and Wii U on November 4, 2014.
