Buck Bearingly is a Piston Cup racer who races under the sponsor View Zeen, superspeeding Ryan Shields and his number is 39.[1]
History
Bearingly competes in the 2016 Piston Cup season in Cars 3, along with other veteran racers. However, when Jackson Storm begins sparking interest in the "next-generation" of race cars, Buck either retires or gets fired after the season ends and is replaced with a next-generation rookie the next season. At the Los Angeles 500, Buck is one of very few veteran racers not replaced by next-generation rookies. Others include Lightning McQueen, Brian Spark, Rev-N-Go Racer, Darren Leadfoot, Murray Clutchburn, Ponchy Wipeout, Ralph Carlow, unnamed Vinyl Toupee and Clutch Aid veteran racers and Reb Meeker.
