Fernando Alonso is a character that appears in the Spanish version of Cars 2. He is a race car that visits the World Grand Prix, in place of Jeff Gorvette or the other version-exclusive racers in one scene.

Upon Team McQueen's arrival at the World Grand Prix welcome party in Tokyo, Japan, Lightning McQueen is greeted by Alonso and Lewis Hamilton, but their conversation is cut short after Lightning leaves to keep an eye on Mater. Fernando later appears in one of Mater's memories while the latter is dreaming.
