APB is a female Capitol Motors TPAS[1] who enjoys competing in demolition derbies. She often competes at Thunder Hollow Speedway's Crazy Eight circuit, basing her appearance on that of a police officer. She has a black and white livery, with a star painted on her doors, and many dents on her body. When competing, her racing number is 54.

History

In Cars 3, APB competes in a demolition derby rally at Thunder Hollow. When she makes her entrance alongside the other veterans, she intimidates newcomers Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez by swerving around them in a donut motion. Early on in the demolition derby, she is following Cigalert. She is eliminated later by crashing into Cigalert, Patty, Bill and then into a fence.

"It's uncertain if APB had a career in law enforcement before she joined the Crazy Eight circuit. Many cars think that APB stands for "All Points Bulletin," but in this case, APB stands for "Always Pumping the Brakes.""[1]
