T.G. Castlenut is a professional race car who competes in the Piston Cup Racing Series. He is sponsored by Re-Volting, and his racing number is 48, which is "84" flipped.[1]
History
In Cars 3, T.G. competes in the 2016 Piston Cup Season against the likes of Lightning McQueen, Bobby Swift, Cal Weathers, Brick Yardley, and many others. He replaced Davey Apex. After Jackson Storm wins the Dinoco 400 at the Copper Canyon Speedway, the Re-Volting team fires T.G. and replaces him with a next-generation rookie racer named Aaron Clocker.[2]
