In Cars 3, Yardley competes in the 2017 Piston Cup season. Despite previously being able to keep up with even the best of opponents, Yardley begins to have trouble competing with next-generation models like Jackson Storm.[2] In the middle of the season, Vitoline replaces Brick with a new, next-generation persona named Chase Racelott.[1]
