History
Alex has been in Japan in 2011, one Day after the first race of the World Grand Prix, he attempted to depart in a plane from Haneda Airport, Tokyo where he had problem with passing the airport security officer Murakarmi.
Physical description
Alex was a 2006 Opel Zafira. He was painted a purplish-blue colour, with a chrome grille and gray rims. His registration plate number was 75R VT 2A.

Trivia
- He was named after Pixar employee Alex Mandel.
- The back of his diecast's card states he is an Opel Corsa, and he has wheels instead of only rims.
- In real-life airports, security gates scan people for anything metal they have on them. Cars being made of metal, it is surprising to see they make use of security gates.
