He debuts at the [[Heartland Motor Speedway]], finishing in eleventh. He later appears at the [[Los Angeles 500]] starting in fifth place next to [[Cam Spinner]]. He finishes the race in sixth place. In the [[Florida 500]], he is seen starting in twenty-eighth place. After [[Cam Spinner]] causes the crash, Chris restarts in twenty-second position behind [[Eric Braker]]. At sunset, he is seen entering the pits again when Cruz comes in. At the end of the race, Chris finishes in twenty-third position. He continues his career after the events of Cars 3.
