After the crash caused by [[Cam Spinner]], Flip makes a pit stop and restarts in 3rd which is the position he would stay in for the rest of the race up until the final few laps. In the later part of the race, [[Cruz Ramirez]] passes him for 3rd though Dover would soon pass Ramirez again as she feels discouraged from a comment by [[Jackson Storm]]. He has the Intersection logo painted on his hood, and the number 00 painted on his doors and roof and has a pink and white livery, the colors of the Intersection logo, and has a similar Next-Gen model body as Danny Swervez.

History

Flip competes in the 2016 Piston Cup season in Cars 3. He enters the season as a mid-season replacement for the previous Intersection racer, Jimmy Cables. He debuts at the Bumper Save Gears and Glory 450 finishing in 26th. He starts in 21st place at the Los Angeles 500 alongside Chase Racelott. He finishes 19th place after Lightning McQueen crashes.

He later appears in the beginning of the 2017 season at the Florida 500 starting in 7th place and managing to stay at the front of the pack.
