During the race of his debutant season at the [[Thomasville Speedway]], he tried to ram [[Doc Hudson|Hudson Hornet]] into a wall, but Hudson flipped over him and won the race. In Cars 3, Leroy can been seen during the race of his debutant season at the Thomasville Speedway. During the race he tried to slam the Fabulous Hudson Hornet into a wall, but Hudson flipped over him, much to his surprise, and managed to win the race. Later on in 1954 he participated at the race at the Fireball Beach during which he was in the first position until he got surpassed on the corner by Doc. Doc Hudson would have won the the race, but, he lost control and experienced a career-ending crash, which caused the race to come to a stop leaving everyone, including Leroy, in shock.
