  • September 4 - LEGO Pixar: Bricktoons premiered for streaming on Disney+, featuring a Cars episode, "Trust Yer' Old Pal, Mater". It was also uploaded for free viewing on YouTube (right).
  • August 10 - Two new Cars-themed rides are coming to Disney World Florida, as revealed at D23 2024. One of these rides features an off-road race that is being newscasted by the RSN.[1]
  • June 14 - First images of the 2025 Mainline have been found on sites such as Walmart and Icecat, revealing several new 2-packs and re-releases.
  • March 7 - During their 2024 Virtual Investor Presentation, Mattel announced they will soon be launching the Global Racers Cup, a cross-market storytelling series developed with Disney.[2]
