In [[Cars 2]], Carla is an Brazilian race car who competes as the only female racer, the #8, for the [[World Grand Prix]]. She is one of the greatest competitors. She is seen in all three races and also in the one at [[Radiator Springs]]. She finished 3rd in the [[Tokyo Circuit|Tokyo Race]], and was also seen in the [[Porto Corsa Circuit|Porto Corsa Race]] at the 3rd position. But later, her engine exploded due to the [[WGP Camera|Lemons' machine]], used by [[Grem]]. Along with [[Francesco Bernoulli]] and [[Lightning McQueen]], she is the fastest racecar from all. She is the first car hit by the lemons's radiation beam. She gets fixed though and gets back up to race. In [[London]], her pit was next to [[Jeff Gorvette]]'s pit on the left. She has no lines in the film.

She is powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbo diesel V12 engine with 725 HP. She can accelerate from 0-60&nbsp;mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 206&nbsp;mph. 
 
Given that Carla represents a closed-cockpit Le Mans Prototype built in 2009, her design closely resembles a Lola LMP1. Her vehicle type name is a reference to one of her main design inspirations called the [https://www.gettyimages.ie/photos/drayson-racing-lola Drayson Lola B09/60 Judd]. It was a one make chassis used by Drayson Racing from 2009-2010. This car later evolved into the Lola-Drayson B12/69 EV in 2012; which may explain where Carla most likely got the B12 designation from. She is also heavily influenced by the 2006 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_R10_TDI Audi R10 TDi], given her similar shape when viewed from the top, her similar 5.5-liter twin-turbo diesel V12 engine, and her similar rear exhaust pipes. Carla is a 2009 Le Motor Prototype B12 Racer according to Meet the Cars. She is powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbo diesel V12 engine with 725 HP. She can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 206 mph.

Given that Carla represents a closed-cockpit Le Mans Prototype built in 2009, her design closely resembles a Lola LMP1. Her vehicle type name is a reference to one of her main design inspirations called the Drayson Lola B09/60 Judd. It was a one make chassis used by Drayson Racing from 2009-2010. This car later evolved into the Lola-Drayson B12/69 EV in 2012; which may explain where Carla most likely got the B12 designation from. She is also heavily influenced by the 2006 Audi R10 TDi, given her similar shape when viewed from the top, her similar 5.5-liter twin-turbo diesel V12 engine, and her similar rear exhaust pipes. Early concept art reveals that she may have also drawn inspiration from the 2009 Audi R15 TDi as well.

Carla is a sequin-covered Le Mans Prototype painted green and blue, with a large blue spoiler sporting the World Grand Prix logo on it. She has a blue splitter at the front which helps create downforce. She has blue 12-spoke rims, as well as grey and orange headlights. The three dots on her sides are LED lights, which are commonly seen on endurance sports cars. Her roof features an air intake.
