- August 10 - Two new Cars-themed rides are coming to Disney World Florida, as revealed at D23 2024. One of these rides features an off-road race that is being newscasted by the RSN.[1]
- March 7 - During their 2024 Virtual Investor Presentation, Mattel announced they will soon be launching the Global Racers Cup, a cross-market storytelling series developed with Disney.[2]
- February 10 - Mattel unveiled the complete 2024 Mainline poster on the Disney Pixar Cars website.[3]
- February 2-4, 2024 - A life-size replica of Lightning McQueen made his "celebrity" appearance at NASCAR's Busch Light Clash, driving laps around the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.[4]
