Jigsaw Two said that it will be a "Turkey Shoot", and the other rookies went in. Skipper decided that they should go for a closer look, but keeping their distance. Once they went closer, they realized too late they encountered an enemy fleet. Despite returning fire, the rookies, including Jigsaw Three, were all wiped out by the enemy fleet's anti-air guns, leaving Skipper the only survivor after being shot down and rescued.

Jigsaw 2, as he was referred to as, or Jigsaw 3, based on his number, was a young F4U Corsair rookie who was trained by Skipper Riley, and part of the Jolly Wrenches under his command during World War II.
