Character infobox

A character infobox is used at the top of character articles to display quick, overview-esque information about a character. By nature, this is one of the most popular and frequently-used templates on the wiki: Please read the guidelines below for instructions and policies for using this template.

Usage

In addition to the basic parameters under the title section, there are three additional "groups" of values, organized into collapsible sections. Each header will not appear unless one or more of its respective parameters are defined. (In other words, they will automatically appear when you need them, and vice versa).

Syntax
name=	Infobox title; defaults to pagename
image=	Artwork, screenshot, or some other representation of the character. Generally preferable in that order of priority.
caption=	Image caption, should describe the image's atttribution and/or relevance to the subject
make=	The vehicle's make and model; if conflicts between sources, combine information and if conflicting, use common name principle to work out a priority. Contradictions should be stated (and cited) elsewhere on the article.
color=	Should always be their primary/most common paint (or otherwise physically defining) color; Do not list temporary or secondary styles unless overwhelmingly significant to the character and/or series. (If this "changes frequently,"per a character like Ramone, the value should be entered as such)
|occupation=	Description of role or profession
|first_appearance=	The character's first media appearance within the Cars franchise.
|latest_appearance	The character's latest (most recent) media appearance within the Cars franchise.
Character information
full name=	A longer or more complete version of the character's name, if not already displayed in the title due to common name practice. Nearly always requires a citation.
nicknames=	Repeatedly-used and significant nicknames coined by other characters. Do not add insults or one-time jokes.
aliases=	Assumed and/or additional names used or defined by the character. Nicknames, insults, or descriptive terms used by other characters are not aliases. Likewise, alternate in-universe names (or spellings of) provided by out-of-universe publications (i.e. official encyclopedias and reference materials) are not to be placed here either; These should be documented and described in writing (or another format) on the article itself.
gender=	Use only if not immediately obvious (if the article makes use of pronoun's to describe a character)
title=	Formal titles earned/given to the character

relatives=	Non-immediate family members

nationality=	Country of origin
birthday=	Rarely (almost never) used -- only when plainly, objectively stated (i.e. Mater's passport in Cars 2}}). A character's "vehicle type" year should not be placed here.
