According to the deleted scene it was supposed to be the second race in the World Grand Prix. However it was replaced with the Porto Corsa Grand Prix in Italy.

• The circuit would've hosted a 24 Hours of Le Mans type race.
• The idea was used in the DS and 3DS versions of Cars 2: The Video Game.
• On the racing simulator for the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy, Paris is included as a track McQueen can pick on the simulator. Possibly being a reference to circuit.
