Plot Synopsis
Lightning McQueen and Ramone arrive in Motoropolis City for a relay race against Chick Hicks and his racing student, Stinger. Inspired by the neon lights of the city, Ramone gives McQueen a glow-in-the-dark paint job while Chick teaches his student to drive aggressively.
During the race, Chick tries to push Ramone into a wall but crashes into it himself when Ramone uses his hydraulics to leap out of the way. McQueen's portion of the race begins with a tunnel, which he can navigate even after Chick turns out the lights thanks to his new glowing paint. Stinger hits McQueen, inadvertently helping him dodge a pothole, but when he tries to take a shortcut through a parking garage he shreds his tires on tire spikes. McQueen and Ramone are awarded the Silver Tailfin trophy.
