Danilo De Girolamo (May 1, 1956 - May 9, 2012) was an Italian actor, voice actor, dubbing director and dialogue writer. For Cars, he has performed various international dubbing roles for Guido. He did not voice him in the actual Italian-dubbed versions of the Cars franchise since that role had already been filled in by professional race car driver Alex Zanardi. Other roles De Girolamo was known for were providing the Italian voice of Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter film series as well as Jack Davenport in Pirates of the Caribbean and Crane in Kung Fu Panda.
De Girolamo died of a heart attack in Rome on May 9, 2012 at the age of 56.
