Cars: The Videogame (DS)

The DS version of the game does not have a story. However, it has a variety of minigames and four Piston Cup races for the player to complete.

Minigames


Minigame	Character	Main objective	Secondary objective
		Using the Touch Screen, tap anywhere in a lane to move Snot Rod. Avoid hitting other cars and obstacles or Sheriff will catch you!	Make it to the Torquetown town limit to win!
		Rub the cars in each fueling bay to fill them up faster and keep them happy. Use the arrows on the Touch Screen or +Control Pad to move between bays.	Be quick or Flo's customers will lose their patience and leave!
		Watch the light sequence and then use the Touch Screen to match the patterns and touch the right lights.
		Use the +Control Pad to steer, A to accelerate and B to brake. Use R or L to jump.
		Tap the highlighted lug nuts to change your damaged tires. Be fast or your opponent will beat you!
		Tap quickly, back and forth, on the icons on each side of the Touch Screen to boost Mater's speed meter.	The faster you tap, the higher Mater will fly. Tap left or right again to steer him in the air and collect stars while he is in the air.
		Help Mater fish out all the junk and clean up the river. Use the Touch Screen to pull his hook back, aim and then release to cast. Time it so his hook lands on an object in the river and then wind on the icon with a reeling motion to fish it out.	Don't wind too fast!
		Use the Touch Screen to grab and sort Lightning's multi-colored trophies into the correct bins on the bottom screen.
		Use the +Control Pad to steer, A to accelerate and B to brake. Use R or L to jump.
		Help Ramone put DJ in his place. Listen to DJ's jams and then use the Touch Screen to match the same beat pattern.
		See how many tractors you can tip while avoiding Frank. Use the +Control Pad Up to accelerate and Down to brake.	Use the Touch Screen to steer. Blow into the microphone to wake up tractors, but don't make too much noise!
		Help Guido stack tires by flicking the stylus on the Touch Screen from the bottom up to the top. Watch the wind speed and direction!
		Use the +Control Pad to steer, A to accelerate and B to brake. Use R or L to jump.
		Use the stylus to bounce Ramone. Time it so you push down before he hits the ground to get him bouncing even higher.	Trace over the different shapes that appear for bonus moves. Get multiple moves in a row to rack up your score!
		Help guide Lightning back to Sally. Use the Touch Screen to move the various cars around to open a path for Lightning.
		Race Mater around Willys Butte while driving backwards. Avoid obstacles to stay ahead of Mater!	Steer Lightning with the +Control Pad. Press R to make Lightning jump. Press A to make Lightning accelerate. Press B to make Lightning brake!
		Use the +Control Pad to steer, A to accelerate and B to brake. Use R or L to jump.
