Bobby Swift is a Piston Cup racer who is sponsored by Octane Gain. He is painted purple and orange, with the Octane Gain logo on his hood and sides, and the number "19" on his doors and roof.
History
Cars 3
Swift competes in the 2017 Piston Cup season in Cars 3, performing well throughout. He consistently finishes in the top positions, near his fellow racers, Lightning McQueen and Cal Weathers. However, the three stock cars fall short of next-generation rookie Jackson Storm, who wins the Dinoco 400. While Storm drives out to the winner's podium, the three friends curiously take notice of him.[2]
Throughout the rest of the season, Storm and the other next-generation rookies continue to dominate. Sponsors begin dropping previous racers in favor of next-generation racers. Octane Gain replaces Swift with Daniel Swervez on the actual day of a Piston Cup race.[3]
