- ""Is that...? That's the Hudson Hornet! Bob! Darrell! The Hudson Hornet's back!""
- —'Artie', Cars, [[{{{3}}}]]
Artie is an announcer for the Racing Sports Network. He and Brian Fee Clamp sit in the skyboxes at Piston Cup races, watching the race from different camera angles, to transfer information to Bob Cutlass and Darrell Cartrip.
In Cars, Artie is among the first to notice Doc Hudson, who is serving as Lightning McQueen's crew chief in the tie-breaker race at the Los Angeles International Speedway, while in his racing attire from when he competed in the Piston Cup series as the Fabulous Hudson Hornet. Artie then notifies Bob and Darrell of this fact, who excitedly inform the audience, and everyone is surprised to see the old race car again after such a long period of time.
Artie is a Roymac Lugger that is painted blue, with what appear to be a blue grille and red headlights. He has chrome rims, and often wears a headset. His license plate reads "LOCK NUT 0TUF8".
